Improve Accessibility to All Areas
A lack of elevators and access ramps makes it difficult, and sometimes impossible, for some people to enjoy the full range of activities the Center has to offer. Once the necessary capital improvements are made, everyone, regardless of his or her physical challenges, will be able to enjoy all aspects of the Phinney Neighborhood Center.
Access improvements that will be made include:
- Elevators and access ramps for both buildings.
- Restrooms and classrooms that meet ADA standards.
- A new accessible entrance for each building.
- Landscaped access pathways between the buildings.
