2007 PNA Events
The PNA sponsors a wide variety of events that bring neighbors
and friends together for fun, food and festivities. For more

Annual Meeting - January 21
Meet with other members, vote on a new Board, celebrate the year's
accomplishments.
Home Design & Remodel
Fair - January 28
Builders, architects, specialty contractors and permit specialists are
all on hand to discuss attendees' ideas, dreams and blue prints.
Mystery Book Exchange -
January 21
Trade your old used mysteries for "new" ones.
Wine Taste - March 4
Taste up to ten wines and a variety of hors d'ouevres. Includes a
silent auction.
Preschool Sales- March 4 and March 31
You'll find loads of quality brand name, gently used children's and maternity clothing, toys, videos, books,
and general baby gear.
Greenwood Garage Sale Day
- April 21
Each year, about 150 households host garage sales. A map and program
lists addresses. Includes a Flea Market at the Phinney Neighborhood
Center.
Auction - May 5
A major fundraising event for the PNA. Live and silent auctions.
Includes hors d'ouevres and no-host wine and beer.
Home Tour - "Real Homes for
Real People" - June 10
Eight remodeled or restored homes are open to view.
Summer Beer Taste - July 14
Taste 10 beers and snacks.
Garden Tour - September 9
View eight area gardens in full bloom.
Phabulous Phinney Pig Out -
October 4
Eat out and support the soup kitchens.
Halloween Carnival - October
28
Games and activities for young children.
Day of the Dead Festival -
November 2
Mask making workshops, opening procession, art show, community altar,
dance and music performances.
Beer Taste - November 10
Taste 10 beers and snacks. Includes a silent auction.
Winter Festival and Crafts Fair -
December 1 & 2
The PNA's largest and oldest event - 125 craftspeople sell their wares
in both buildings for two days. Includes continuous live entertainment,
an old fashioned bake sale, a quilt raffle and a lunchroom.
Dinners for Eight
Potluck dinners for up to eight people each. Held every other month at
participant's homes.
Art Gallery Openings
The first Friday of each month
Phinney Neighbors in Action
street and yard clean ups
Projects to help elderly or disabled neighbors and keep the
neighborhood clean. Held several times in spring and fall.
