If you can’t make time to read beforehand, come and listen anyway. The book will be also available for sale at the event.

Breakfast at Sally’s is the chronicle of one man’s experience losing his business, family ties, possessions and home. Richard LeMieux was a successful business owner living near Poulsbo when his life unraveled in 2002. Left only with his van and Willow, his devoted little dog, LeMieux came perilously close to jumping from the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. It was his concern for Willow that brought him back from the brink and a stroke of luck that put a manual typewriter into his hands soon thereafter.

Reading Breakfast at Sally’s will put you in the shoes of a local man who has taken this journey. It will open your eyes to some of the ways we can lose our footing and to the power of seemingly small acts of kindness and generosity.
