Ed Medeiros Fundraising Roast
Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, from 5 to 8 pm.

Since 1981, as Executive Director of the Phinney Neighborhood Association, Ed Medeiros has inspired us, by his example and leadership, to share our individual gifts to build a vibrant and caring community.
Ed is retiring in January and we want to honor him for his years of service. You’re invited to a fundraising roast in his honor 5 to 8 pm Sunday, Jan. 10, at the Shilshole Bay Beach Club, 6413 Seaview Ave NW.
Admission to this not-to-be-missed event is a donation of at least $150 per person ($50 covers the cost of dinner, drinks, jokes and a gift for Ed; $100 is a tax deductible contribution to the Capital Campaign).
We describe the admission price as “at least $150” because, quite frankly, we’re hoping some have the means to donate more. We’re using the roast to try to raise $50,000 for the Capital Campaign to dedicate the Phinney Center Gallery in Ed’s honor. In fact, we’ve already sold 20 event tickets at $1,000 each to donors who think that “Ed’s House of Velvet Paintings” has a nice ring to it.
Seriously, we hope you can attend what promises to be a very fun event with lots of laughter and probably a few tears. Please order your tickets by December 21.
