CREATE COMMUNITY at the PNA Annual Meeting on Jan. 23. Help with set-up, be a greeter, flip pancakes, or stay for clean-up. Contact marylee@phinneycenter.org.

LEND YOUR SKILLS to the Home Design & Remodel Fair on Sunday, Jan. 31. Many positions available for volunteers in advance and during the event.

HELP HONOR PNA SUPPORTERS. Wait/service staff needed for our annual donor reception, scheduled for Feb. 5 from 7 – p.m. Help with set up, service or clean up. Contact ann@phinneycenter.org.

LIFT A GLASS in support of the PNA Wine Taste on Saturday, Feb. 28. Contact chardell@phinneycenter.org.

HELP PLAN THE PARTY as a member of the PNA Auction Committee. Assist with developing the theme, planning the menu, and brainstorming décor, as well as the usual work of procurement, and more. Contact chardell@phinneycenter.org.

SUPPORT THE ARTS AT THE PNA as a member of our Arts Committee. This working committee helps to hang shows and host openings, as well as planning arts-related events and monthly art shows.

STICKERS AND SOCIALIZING. Join a friendly group of volunteers who put together monthly mailings on weekday mornings.

BE THE DIFFERENCE for a child at Phinney Ridge Kids! or Whittier Kids! Volunteers age 16 and up are invited to provide homework help or offer enrichment activities in arts, sports, cooking, or more for preschoolers or school-age children. Special application and TB test required.

FREE TOOLS & CLASSES! Be a substitute Tool Librarian for the Well Home Program. Help your neighbors get the tools and advice they need for their home improvement projects and get great bennies. Contact michaelb@phinneycenter.org or call (206) 789-4993.

PERUSE PLANS in order to inventory, index, and store historic drawings of PNC site and buildings for ready reference and easy filing.

TRAIN THE TEACHERS at PNA Kids! Volunteers with professional skills in human resources, management techniques, food service, budgeting, positive discipline, curriculum development and more wanted to offer workshops for staff members.
 

Help Wanted at the Greenwood Senior Center (GSC)

Volunteers of all ages are invited to get involved at the Greenwood Senior Center. For details or to volunteer please contact Aura Honkanen by email at aura@greenwoodseniorcenter.org or by phone at (206) 297-0875. We look forward to hearing from you! Current open volunteer positions include:

EVENT VOLUNTEERS to help serve at Spaghetti Dinners, make popcorn and treats at Bingo and Karaoke Nights, and set up and serve at our luncheons. Times are flexible.

READERBOARD CHANGER to come in once a week and update our fabulous readerboard. Times are flexible.

GROUNDS WORK. Help maintain the Senior Center grounds. This includes watering plants, cutting back shrubs, picking up garbage, and raking leaves. We especially need volunteers to sweep leaves out of our parking lot to ensure that we have safe walkways.
