PNA
: Programs
The PNA sponsors a
variety of programs and classes with
something for everyone from Tai Chi to tuckpointing. Remember that
there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with PNA activities
as a volunteer.
Programs include:
- An Arts Program and art
gallery to provide the community with a rich diversity of cultural
experiences.
- Phinney Neighborhood Preschool Co-op and the 65th Street Preschool Coop serve infants through
five year olds.
- Phinney
Ridge Kids! is a licensed and insured before and after school
childcare program.
- The Technology Center
includes two public access computers, a computer lab and a variety of
computer-related classes
- The Well Home Program
offers home repair classes, a tool lending library, and referral
service. Check out the Well Home
Article Library, which includes information on everything from
basement flooding to building a tree fort.
- Phinney Neighbors in Action
is a service group of neighbors helping neighbors.
- PNA Soup Kitchens
provides an evening meal every Tuesday and a noon meal every Monday and
Wednesday.
- An Education Program that offers or provides space
for over 80 regularly scheduled classes
per month.
- Phinney Ridge Review, a
community newspaper published five times a year and distributed to
households in Phinney/Greenwood.
- PNA-sponsored events, such as
a Halloween carnival, beer and wine tastings and a neighborhood wide
garage sale day, promote involvement in the community and an
opportunity to celebrate with friends and neighbors.
