Planning Your Next Stage in Life

What goes in to making the best decision for your future? We’ll walk through what is right for different people at different stages of their lives. Looking at what’s available from the lightest end of the spectrum, to skilled nursing homes, and everything in between, including cost, benefits and what restrictions may apply.

Interested in learning about what the PNA Village is all about? Join us for an informational session about how you can get involved in this strong and active intergenerational community that reimagines aging by offering elders opportunities combined with support to fully engage in this next phase of life.

The Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery, 8570 Greenwood Ave N
Join fellow volunteers and members for some casual fun and socializing.  The Flying Bike serves drinks and you can order food to be delivered from Munch Café, next door.  Check out their websites for menus and pricing. The Flying Bike is kid and dog friendly.

Chihuly Garden and Glass Trip
Tuesday, March 28, 10 AM to 2 PM

Free admission to the museum. Please bring money for bus and lunch.
We have joined forces with the Greenwood Senior Center for one big trip to the Chihuly Glass Museum! Chihuly Garden and Glass has generously donated free tickets. We’ll catch the Metro bus to the Seattle Center, where we’ll start with lunch in the Center House before exploring exhibits of both real and glass flowers. Please wear comfortable shoes for a moderate urban walk. If you are a Full Village Member and you don’t feel comfortable riding the bus please let us know. We will arrange volunteer drivers. You are also welcome to meet us at Seattle Center, if you would prefer.

Second Wednesday Book Sharing Group
2nd Wednesday of each month, 11:00 AM – Noon
Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N.

Our meetings are a lively mix of discussion, getting to know one another, talking about current books we are reading, and our favorite types of reading. The Couth Buzzard has drinks and snacks available. Bring a favorite or current book to tell us about.

 

Understanding Happiness

There is excellent research on the subject of happiness. In this group we’ll explore how to act on this research and create happier lives. We write everything from memoirs, short and long stories, poetry, songs, to PR copy. Join us with old projects and new in a supportive, fun atmosphere.

 

Theatre Outings Group
Sundays as announced: Matinees at Shoreline Community College

Watch email bulletins for dates. SCC Theatre students do wonderful work as developing professionals. Rides and discounted tickets can be arranged.
