VOLUNTEERS POWER THE PNA
At the Phinney Neighborhood Center, volunteers get involved in
everything from planning events, to set-up, clean-up, and lots of
activities in between. Tell us your interests and your availability and
we'll find a way for you to get involved.
For current volunteer opportunities:
Help Wanted at the
Phinney Neighborhood Association - A wide variety of needs ranging
from computer work to helping at the Greenwood Senior Center and
teaching classes.
In addition, the following programs regularly utilize
volunteers:
Soup Kitchen -
Prep,
cooking, serving and clean-up for Monday and Wednesday lunch and
Tuesday dinner.
Community Technology
Center - Lab supervision, home tutoring, teaching classes,
assisting seniors with Microsoft office programs.
Heart of Phinney Park -
One-time and ongoing gardening assistance.
PNA Kids! Programs - After-school homework
help.
Facilities - Carpentry, painting, welding, and
more.
Committees - Join an event committee or help
run the art gallery.

Community Service
We welcome students who need to earn community service credit, as well
as community members who have court-ordered service obligations. Some
limitations apply. We are also happy to accommodate school or civic
groups who want to volunteer together on a one-time basis.
