Court-Related Service Hours

If your situation meets a few qualifying criteria, we will most likely be able to find an opportunity for you to meet your court-related community-service obligations. Our policy states that we can only guarantee documentation of service for court-related purposes only if these criteria are met:

  • Individual must not have been found guilty of a crime against a person;

  • Individual must complete a volunteer application;

  • Individual must pass a background check form prior to volunteering;

  • Deadline for completion is at least 6 weeks from the date of application.

If your situation meets these requirements, your first step is to complete and return our application form and background check release form.

We will review your information and respond within two weeks with information about opportunities to get involved. Most court-related volunteers are placed in service with our hot meal program and/or gardening or grounds work.
