Help Wanted at the PNA

Celebrate Bike to Work Day on May 18. Help host a Phinney Commuter Station.

Cultivate Phinney Farmers Market, Friday afternoons, June-October. Assist patrons or clean up at end of day.

Phinney Center front desk assistant. Answer phones and assist visitors. Fridays, 11 am-2 pm.

Get the word out by creating or helping distribute flyers about PNA activities.

PNA Village drivers provide local rides to seniors who are PNA Village members.

PNA Village Handy Helpers perform basic home repairs and maintenance for seniors living in their homes.

PNA Village office support volunteers assist with data entry and administrative tasks in support of PNA’s newest program.

Arts Program Installation Assistants prepare gallery space and hang art each month Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm.

Arts Program Publicity Assistant develops marketing messages to increase participation in and viewership of art gallery shows.

“Prom Night” is May 5. PNA Auction helpers assist with prep and set up, during the auction and clean-up.

House and Garden sitters get free tickets to Home and Garden Tour. 2-3 hour shifts on June 10, 12-4 pm.

Love Bingo Karaoke? Join a newly-formed planning committee, share your ideas and make the event even more fun.

Serve lunch to people in need. Mondays in Crown Hill, 10 am–1:30 pm; Wednesdays in Phinney, 9:30 am–1:45 pm.

Calling all gardeners! Heart of Phinney Park is 100% volunteer maintained. All efforts to keep it spiffy will be much appreciated!

Sewing project for someone crafty. Design and create a new staff photo wall display with input from our staff lead.

Lend a Helping Hand at the Greenwood Senior Center (GSC)

Volunteers of all ages are invited to get involved at the Greenwood Senior Center. For details or to volunteer please stop by or contact LeAnne at 206.297.0875 or gscvolunteer@phinneycenter.org.

Cook up a storm! Daily lunch cook plans menu, shops, preps, serves meal with other volunteer cooks. Weekly.

Lunch helper. Help prep and serve the food without having to plan the menu!  Weekly.

Local Giving Fair committee member. Help plan annual giving fair that benefits variety of local charities.

Fluent Spanish speaker needed to teach Spanish languages classes Wednesday mornings.

Love reading and talking about books? Our Book Club Facilitator selects titles and facilitates discussion. Third Thursdays.

Special event support. Set up, serve food, clean up and more at our events, including Bingo Karaoke.
        
Gardeners wanted! Plot, plant and pretty up our raised beds to grow food for our lunch program.

Groundswork guru. Keep our grounds pretty by raking, weeding, pruning, mowing and more!  
                       
Weekly receptionist. Greet and interact with seniors of all ages and backgrounds.

Volunteer publicist. Promote GSC services, programs and events online and/or on foot. Flex schedule.

Event photographer. Help record our memorable events with your digital camera.  Dates vary.

GSC development team. Join this fun group to help raise money for GSC programs, activities and services.

Help air our dirty laundry! by washing our dish towels and tablecloths. Must provide your own washer/dryer.
