The egregious separation of immigrant families: What can we do?
The policy of separating children from their parents at the southern border was outrageous and tragic. Now that policy has changed, and we are not sure what the impact will be or when families will be reunited. We have heard from many community members, and we will be passing along, through Facebook, information from Northwest Immigrant Rights Project about the situation and actions we can take. On Friday, June 22, over 100 community members at the Phinney Farmers Market wrote messages to officials, both national and local, who can have an impact. We have information and supplies to write these postcards at the Phinney Center, or you can use the information in this post to send from home. Stay tuned for other efforts. ...

Our Spanish Preschool Co-op, PCPE, along with Counsel of Guatemala are gathering items that are in good condition to support people affected by the terrible volcanic eruption that has left people without homes and loved ones.
