Seed Library Helps You Grow Fall & Winter Plants
Keep your garden growing into the fall and even through the winter with seeds that are available right now at the King County Seed Lending Library inside the PNA Tool Library. You can start all sorts of salad greens, plus second sowings of peas, beets, turnips and carrots for fall harvest. Plant kale, broccoli and other brassica-family crops for fall and overwintering. Small quantities of seed for all these crops are now available at the PNA’s branch of the seed library. Memory loss documentary now online
Out of the desire to be advocates, members of The Gathering Place program who are living with memory loss, create a short documentary, Living with Memory Loss: In Our Own Words. We screened the film at the Greenwood Senior Center twice to positive response and a crowded room. The Gathering Place group and staff team decided to take it further—to make the film widely available to anyone online for free, to stream or download. ...Read More

The PNA Summer Beer Tastes was a success for year 13! Ticket sales were record-breaking, the weather was perfect, the brews were delicious (and many of them special for the event!), and the mood was jovial. We were tickled to see so many Hawaiian shirts and beachy outfits, adding to the festiveness of the afternoon. Yard signs are coming!
It's the annual membership campaign, and 800 "Proud to be a PNA Member" yard signs will soon pop up at PNA Members’ homes around the neighborhood. You may suddenly find one in your yard! Help us spread the word about the PNA by displaying your sign for the couple months of the campaign. Didn't get a sign delivered and want one?
