Greenwood facility keeping seniors safe during Seattle-area heat wave
The Greenwood Senior Center is helping the community keep cool during a Seattle heatwave. Our cooling center hours are Tuesdays through Thursdays, 9 am-7 pm and Fridays, 9 am-6 pm when the temperature is 90 or above. The GSC will also be open this Sat, July 30, 2:30-5 pm. On days when the temperature is 90 degrees or above, the Greenwood Senior Center's air conditioned Greenwood Room doubles as a City Cooling Center! Our Cooling Center hours are Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 am to 7 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 6 pm. The GSC will also be open this Sat, July 30 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
