Black Coffee NW (Shoreline) Black Coffee is a coffee shop and community space featuring a variety of pop-ups, merchandise, youth leadership programs, and more.

Bongos Cafe (Phinney/Green Lake) Authentic Caribbean cuisine. Their newly renovated patio and seating area are ready for you to visit!

Brown Sugar Baking Company (Central District) A Seattle based, vegan baked goods catering company. Their treats use organic, nut-free, and locally-sourced ingredients! 

Cafe Campagne (Pike Place Market) A Seattle tradition! Visit this French Bistro for brunch, lunch, and dinner – takeout and delivery.

Communion Restaurant & Bar (Central District) A new “Seattle Soul” restaurant from Chef Kristi Brown (That Brown Girl Cooks) and her son Damon Bomar. Their mission is to foster community through the cultivation of fresh food and fine cooking.

Delish Ethiopian Cuisine (Rainier Ave S) Owner Delish and his wife Amy (also the head chef) serves authentic Ethiopian dishes made with fresh ingredients. They offer vegetarian options along with beef, chicken, and fish.

Geo’s Cuban Bar & Grill (Greenwood) Geo’s features authentic Cuban cuisine, craft cocktails, select wine, and draft beer 7 days a week.

Nadine’s Kitchen (Port Townsend) Owner and chef Grace Love has been a community advocate for over 2 decades. Visit if you are on the Peninsula, and show your support anytime by purchasing her delicious Soul Drop Biscuit Mix!

Pam’s Kitchen (Wallingford) Owner and chef Pam Jacob has been serving fresh, homemade Caribbean food in Seattle for almost 12 years. Each dish has a connection to Pam’s upbringing in Trinidad and is made from scratch every day. More about her story here.

Simply Soulful Cafe (Madison Valley) Woman & family-owned; Simply Soulful serves soul food, using recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Their flavorful southern dishes are made with fresh, organic ingredients.

That Brown Girl Cooks! (Central District) Chef Kristi Brown serves traditional soul food as well as dishes inspired by cultures from around the world. As the Central District becomes increasingly more gentrified, Chef Kristi Brown wants to create a place that feels like home, particularly to Black people and people of color.

KnotBadBritt (Online) A local crochet designer and maker living in the Ballard area, who specializes in cozy accessories with a timeless style and fit.

Laceandpearlsjewelry (Online) Started in 2014 as a fashion blog, Seattle based Asa Herrman started Lace and Pearl to help inspire women with outfit posts and tips, but soon turned into the brand Lace & Pearls jewelry. 

Lika Love Boutique (multiple Seattle locations) With locations in West Seattle, Madison Valley, and Queen Anne, Lika Love Boutique carries women’s apparel, handbags, jewelry and accessories for women “on the go” who like to transition from a casual outfit to dressed up easy and quickly.

Bruja Hair Salon (Phinney Ridge) Bruja offers a full range of hair services from cuts to high fashion color and use and sell high quality skin and hair products. Visit them at their new location in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge Neighborhood!
