This course is presented as a challenging dance rhythms review - tunes where clapping along is about as challenging as dancing, and a great exercise for your brain. Since over half of the hour will be listening to dance music, you can get on your feet or wiggle in your chair to make it a physical exercise course too.
Tailored for active older adults, who want to focus on muscle conditioning and light weight activity, Zumba Gold Toning blends low-intensity strength training with a fun party atmosphere.
Zumba Gold is a dance party that is designed to meet the needs of seniors and those new to working out. It has many health benefits, is easy to follow and is low impact. Drop-ins and adults of all ages welcome.

Join instructor Chandra Wu to learn how to bring new life to old items and gain new sewing skills for mending or decorative needlecrafts. We will sew a simple 4-page bound “book” of sample stitches that can be a memory book about loved ones, a gift for a child, or simply a needlebook for showcasing the skills you will learn in our class!
After the age of 65, many older adults are living alone. New challenges and issues can arise that we may be uncertain how to handle. Come to share experiences and thoughts.
