Lost a Spouse? Widowed Information and Consultation Services can help. The mission of the Widowed Information and Consultation Services is to provide a supportive environment and practical assistance to widows and widowers during their adjustment to the loss of a spouse by death and into their lives as a single person. What we need when grieving is: Non-judgmental listeners, unconditional acceptance, respect for our feelings, opportunities to reminisce and talk about our missing loved one, practical assistance when feeling overwhelmed, to know that grief is normal.
