Volunteer: Hot Meal Program
Monday, December 30, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us to help address hunger in our community. The PNA Hot Meal Program serves 150-200 meals three times weekly.
Meal Program Assistant volunteers may be asked to organize inventory, set up tables, prepare food, serve salad, wash pots and more! The kitchen is a fast-paced and ever-changing environment – a real-life Iron Chef experience! Kitchen experience is not required, as long as volunteers come with an open mind about what kind of help is needed each day. Meal Program Assistants must be age 10 or older, and children ages 10 through 13 must be accompanied by an adult and will be limited to tasks in the dining room and pantry. Due to the size of our kitchen, our Hot Meal Program cannot accommodate most volunteer groups larger than five people; please inquire about any group openings we might have.
Background check and valid Washington State food worker card (or ability to get one) required. 6-month commitment preferred. Please note in your sign up if you are fulfilling a service requirement, and include the number of hours needed and your deadline.
