Week of Activities
Tues. 2/2. Steven M. Standaert, MD, will review the first year experience of this novel, previously unheard human pathogen, examining what makes it unprecedented and different from other respiratory infections. He will also discuss the new COVID-19 vaccines, focusing on how the new mRNA vaccines work differently from all other prior vaccines.
Wed. 2/3. Democracy Vouchers will be mailed to Seattle residents beginning February 9. Come learn more about how to use your Democracy Vouchers for the upcoming election or how to use them to fund your own campaign.
Thurs. 2/4. Do you know a teen who wants to pursue STEM in college? Many students pursue STEM majors in college for the wrong reasons and are often unaware of the specific skills and experiences to cultivate in order to be competitive for college admission, internships, and jobs in these areas. Join Dr. Mark Hofer for an introductory talk on the STEM college application and admissions process.
