Winter Wishes Gift Giving Program
Through 12/23. Winter Wishes (formerly known as The Giving Tree) is a wonderful way to help local children, families, and adults during the holidays. Simply sign up for a virtual “tag” on our website, purchase the $20-30 gift, and deliver it by the deadline.
PhinneyWood Winter Lights
Enjoy our new PhinneyWood Winter Lights holiday tradition, featuring six different PNAnimal lights in the windows of local businesses. Join the fun online and collect PNAnimal cards at participating businesses to win fun prizes
Make soft dolls, small teddy bears, or other cuddly figures at a low cost with a minimum of necessary skill. Great Christmas ornaments or stocking stuffers!
We’ll bus to the Roosevelt light rail station, ride the train to Westlake, transfer to the Monorail and take it to the newly remodeled terminal at Seattle Center. Then we’ll hit the Armory to take in A Seattle History Worth Remembering: Buffalo Soldiers Exhibit and the Winterfest Train.
Wed. 12/8. Find fascinating pieces from vintage to modern, and score some great new bling at very reasonable prices. Plus support the Greenwood Senior Center!
Would you be able to help a choking infant, child, or adult? This class focuses on injury prevention and safety and is meant for new parents or as a brush up on the basics.
