We love our community!
Dear PNA Friends and Neighbors,
We have seen our community come together in a big way before—when the Greenwood explosion happened—and we feel honored that once again you have rallied; this time for the PNA. So many folks—from life-long PNA members to names who are new to us—have believed in the future of the PNA, and we are grateful and humbled.
Our community has generously given $104,188 to our Don’t Stop Believin’ campaign to date and another $25,664 during the GiveBIG appeal, nearly reaching our first milestone of $135,000! If you helped us get there, thank you so much.
The name—Don’t Stop Believin’ – was originally our 40th birthday party auction theme. And while we had to cancel that event, we’d like to recognize the dedicated team of returning volunteers who had already committed their time, the generous people who donated the cost of their pre-purchased tickets, and the fabulous sponsors who rolled their funding into the emergency campaign: Celine Patisserie, Columbia Bank, Kerry Fowler and Jan Gray, Greenwood Hardware, HomeStreet Bank, Jamie Flaxman Real Estate, Robyn and Ron Lewis, SHKS Architects, Swansons Nursery, and Woodland Park Zoo.
Thanks to our awesome community, we’ve still been able to provide our most essential services: meals to those who need them, online counseling and virtual connection for seniors, free childcare for first responders and frontline workers, and errands for seniors living at home.
We hope that we will soon be able to fill our buildings again, gather together at events and classes, and connect with one another face-to-face. Until that time, we share our gratitude with you and ask that you don’t stop believing in the PNA.
Stay healthy and well,
The PNA Team
