Greenwood Senior Center building transfer is official!
By ana-maria

After 10 years of working together with the City of Seattle to transfer ownership of the Greenwood Senior Center property to the PNA, the papers are signed and it’s official! The PNA now owns the building, which allows us the freedom to make any changes that might better serve our community. Councilmember Dan Strauss came to celebrate the occasion. Big thanks to the community who supported and advocated for us over the years!

We’d like to recognize all who worked through this process over the years, especially Lee Harper, former PNA executive director; Cecily Kaplan, senior programs director, and Christi Beckley, our current executive director who closed out the deal.

Next steps will be a community needs assessment to see what the future of the senior center building will hold. Stay tuned!
