On Fri, June 24, enjoy a local art exhibit followed by an all-ages open mic Poetry Slam hosted by spoken word artist Miz Floes. Author, speaker, and community organizer Omari Amili will join us on Sat, June 25 to share his story, discuss mass incarceration, and explore how society benefits when people pursue higher education after incarceration.
