Power of Community celebrates and supports the Greenwood Senior Center
Our annual Power of Community Campaign celebrates and supports all of our senior programs. The fundraiser this year has been a big success thanks to many amazing supporters!
We set out to raise $60,000 for the Greenwood Senior Center (GSC) and we hit our goal during the Power of Community reception on Oct. 20.

“Everyone loved being together and raising a glass to our senior programs at the reception,” shared our Development Director Chris Robinson. “From our award-winning Memory Loss Program to our caregivers support groups and the PNA Village, it’s clear that the GSC makes a huge difference to the community every day.”
We enjoyed speaking directly to our supporters and GSC members and advocates at the reception. It’s wonderful to see the Greenwood Room full for Power of Community and we deeply appreciate everyone who supported the campaign!

We received a great surprise just before the reception: a generous community member has given us a $5,000 matching fund. We hope to make the most of this opportunity and raise more than $70,000 for our senior programs!
