The current pandemic has reminded us of the importance of personal connection, building community and neighbors helping neighbors, all while taking precautions to keep us all safe and healthy. Our COVID requirements for volunteers are evolving with CDC and King County guidelines.

Paint the Play Passage

Work independently or with another volunteer or two to clean and re-paint the lower parking lot. Designs will need to be swept, and a new coat of paint applied. Weather dependent. Send an email to learn more or sign up.

Tool Library

We’re thrilled to have reopened our popular Tool Lending Library, and are continually working to ensure it is a safe and sustainable community space. The Tool Library is now open Fridays from 3 to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm (shifts from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm). Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and submit our volunteer application, background check, confidentiality form and our Borrower Agreement. Commitment of 2.5 to 5 hours per month (1 to 2 shifts per month). Volunteer Tool Librarians may be eligible for free tool rentals.

Woodshop

We’re excited to have opened the Community Woodshop doors, and look forward to expanding our offerings and shop time as our volunteer team and demand grows. Volunteers must have experience with woodworking tools, be at least 18 years old, and submit our volunteer application, background check and confidentiality form. Safety training and shop orientation provided, 6-month commitment requested. Woodshop volunteers may be eligible for free shop time.

Fix Broken Gadgets

Assist community members repair (or attempt to repair) their broken possessions with the PNA Fixers Collective. First Wednesday of the month, 6-9 pm.

PNA Village Handy Helpers

Perform basic home repairs and maintenance for seniors living in their homes.  Background check required, and minimum 6-month commitment requested.  Learn more about volunteering with the Village.

Clean & Organize Our Spaces

Help dust and clean our newly renovated Greenwood Senior Center, or scrub our kitchen. Either one time or regularly, individually or as a group.
