Community Conversation on Homelessness
Wednesday, June 1, 1-3 pm. Free.

This year’s One Night Count, a “point-in-time” survey of the homeless, turned up 4,505 people living in the streets of Seattle. The mayor has recently declared a state of emergency over this issue. Who are the people these numbers refer to? How should we as a community respond to the needs that we see? Come prepared to have an open and honest conversation about the issues around this increasingly visible problem.

Special Guests: Rex Hohlbein, Executive Director of Homeless in Seattle/Facing Homelessness; Tim Harris, Executive Director of Real Change, and Sinan Demirel, long-time former Executive Director of ROOTS teen shelter.
