PNA Fixers Collective

About the Fixers Collective

Don’t throw that broken gadget away. Bring it to the Fixers instead. The PNA Fixers Collective is a volunteer-led group united by a shared commitment to restore, not replace, keeping usable items out of the landfill and putting practical sustainability into action. Rooted in the principles of the circular economy, the Collective helps extend the life of everyday items while building community through shared skills and knowledge.

Our team includes highly experienced volunteers, including handy folks, electrical engineers, and skilled tinkerers, who will walk you through the repair process step by step. Whether it’s a lamp, fan, microwave, space heater, or other small household item, we can help diagnose the issue and maybe even fix it on the spot. If you can carry it, we can take a look.

Keep your favorite items going strong while learning more about small appliances and basic maintenance. Fixers Collective pop-ups are held on a reliable monthly schedule at local hardware stores, making it easy to access both expert guidance and any supplies you might need.

This is screen-free, hands-on support with real people and real skills, and a chance to reconnect with the lost art of tinkering. At the very least, you’ll leave with great conversation, new knowledge, and a simple way to reduce landfill waste.
