Let community be your anchor.
The strength and vibrancy of the Phinney and Greenwood neighborhoods are no accident – they’re the product of intentional community building that this network of neighbors, organizations, and businesses has nurtured for decades.
Together, we’ve created a unique community organization that is home to events, classes, public meetings, a senior center, preschools and childcare, a tool library, a summer farmers market, a hot meal program, art shows, and a whole lot more.
Meet your neighbors, learn something new, or just have fun at the number of events and activities we organize throughout the year. From beer tastes to craft fairs and from interest groups to classes, there’s something for everyone at the Phinney Center, the Greenwood Senior Center, and in the neighborhood.
Your neighborhood is special because of what you put into it. You can make an investment in the future of your neighborhood by joining, volunteering, or donating.
PNA Membership is a tax-deductible donation to support your community, and is for absolutely everyone who loves, lives in or wants to connect with the Phinney and Greenwood neighborhoods – you don’t even have to live here!
Members hear first about upcoming events and classes, vote on PNA board elections, and get discounts on event tickets and services. Whether you rent or own your home, are new to the neighborhood or have lived here for 40 years, you can join any time at any amount to deepen your connection to the community.
Volunteering is one of the best ways to make new connections in the neighborhood. Chop vegetables, put up posters, answer phones, deliver breakfasts, bake cookies, give rides to seniors– all while getting to know aspects of your neighborhood you may not have known existed. There is a huge variety of one-time, ongoing and flexible volunteer opportunities available.
Your donations help us serve over 20,000 people each year through a wide spectrum of programs and services that help neighbors connect with each other, building strong social networks and close bonds within our community.
We turn strangers into neighbors and neighbors into community.
