Chief Seattle’s grandson, Moses, was born following a traditional reincarnation ceremony in which the elders predicted he would be born with dwarfism and without bones. He died tragically on board a modern warship, with his final moments clinically recorded. In between, he bobbed from the reservations, to the boarding schools, to hop fields, to freak shows, to playing accordion at all-night dances.
