This year, the PNA celebrates 45 years of responding to and caring for the needs of our northwest Seattle neighbors and surrounding community. In October, we gathered with over 130 community members and neighbors to mark this noteworthy milestone at our annual Power of Community luncheon fundraiser. Together, we honored the people and stories that have shaped our shared history and imagined a bold future for what’s to come for our community spaces.

To commemorate the past 45 years at the luncheon, the PNA created the Community Legacy Maker Award to highlight one’s countless efforts throughout the years that have made a difference to the PNA and the community. The PNA proudly bestowed the inaugural PNA Community Legacy Maker Award to the PNA’s founding Executive Director, Ed Medeiros. You can read more about this year’s nominees here.

The PNA has been people-powered from the very beginning, and as we celebrate our collective past, present, and future, we invite you to consider what your legacy with the PNA might look like.

Give the Gift of Community.

Thank you for all the ways you support the PNA! Your support helps improve the lives and health outcomes of our entire community by providing neighbors with more than 20,000 hot meals, caring for 672 neighborhood kids, and connecting with more than 2,100 older adults through activities and social services, annually.

A connected community is a healthy community. To continue this work far into the future, we need your help.
