Early priorities include a Community Center, Preschool Co-op, Senior Programs, Gardening, Recycling, Tree Planting, and a Food Co-op
Additional grant of $20K received to develop a Storm Window Weatherization Program (through 1994)
Susan Medeiros hired as first PNA staffer, to coordinate Storm Window program
1981
PNA leases Allen School property from the Seattle School District and opens the Phinney Neighborhood Center in October 1981
Board hires Ed Medeiros as Director
Phinney Neighborhood Preschool Co-op (PNPC) opens
First annual Holiday Bazaar, precursor to the Winter Festival & Crafts Fair
Household membership is $2/year
1982
