Week of Activities
Experiences with neighbors, especially quirky ones, shape how we build our communities. Following her well-received first book, Sid’s Story: A Father-Daughter Journey, local author Karen Vogel will read from her new book, Quirky Neighbors.
A community of volunteers has come together to launch the Grievers Library project. Volunteer Project Manager, Pamela Belyea, will discuss the gestation of this unique community project, its mission, and its long-term goals.
Fridays from June 3 through Sept. 30, 3-7 pm. Grab dinner or a snack and shop for the week's farm-fresh produce and goodies.
Contra dance every Friday night to live music and a caller who teaches all of the dances. No experience necessary, but enthusiasm is encouraged.
Join Seattle Folklore Society on Saturdays this fall for a wide-ranging array of world-class acoustic music. Greg and Jere Canote are two of the most versatile and joyfully infectious musicians in the Pacific NW. Original, old-time, and swing tunes and songs mixed in with humor and stories for a delightful evening for all ages.
