PhinneyWood Garage Sale Day 2020
Saturday, September 26, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
The people have spoken and we listened! PhinneyWood Garage Sale Day can’t be missed! Whether you have accumulated stuff and haven’t wanted to wait in the long lines at Goodwill, or you love to shop the bargains and treasures, mark your calendar for the neighborhood’s favorite annual event. In order to pull this off in a short turn-around before the weather gets rainy, this year may be a bit pared-down version from years past, with a Google map instead of the professionally custom-made map we’ve had before. But we must continue to shop and sell anyway! (Wearing masks and safely distancing, of course.)
There won’t be a flea market, plant exchange, or tool sale at the Phinney Center this year. (We’re waiting to hear about a Goodwill truck.)
Register by Sept. 22:
PNA Member: $20
Non- member: $25

What is the PNA Garage Sale Map?
The Google map shows the locations of garage sales throughout the Phinney/Greenwood neighborhood on September 26th. The online Google map will list your sale title, category, and description and will be located at phinneycenter.org/garagesale.
What are the “Sale Descriptions” and “Title”?
Please include a title of your sale (keywords/brief description) using 4-5 words to help shoppers quickly identify what you are selling. Adding a description of your sale (1-2 sentences) will provide more detailed information about your sale. The title and description will appear with your listing on the online map. The more descriptive and appealing your description is, the more helpful it is for neighborhood shoppers.
What if I don’t live near the Phinney Center?
Anyone is welcome to list their garage sale on the map. However, the most successful sales tend to be between 8th Ave NW & Linden Ave N and 85th St & 65th St.
Where can I take things that I don’t sell?
Donations can be taken to the nearby Goodwill store at 8th Ave NW & NW 65th St. Currently, we do not have a Goodwill truck scheduled to collect items at the Phinney Center.
How is Garage Sale Day publicized?
The PNA advertises Garage Sale Day in local news publications, distributes posters and flyers, and promotes the event on our website, newsletter, PhinneyWood blog and social media. However, word of mouth is often the most effective form of advertising. Tell your friends and refer them to phinneycenter.org/garagesale for more information.
What if it’s raining?
Garage Sale Day will be held rain or shine. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.
