Holiday Bookfest 2020: Stay at Home Edition

Saturday December 5, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free
row of books

Jess Walter, Donna Miscolta, Erica Bauermeister, and Kira Jane Buxton will read, and authors from around the PNW region will be celebrated at the Holiday Bookfest, coming to you via Zoom.
Along with four readings, the event includes a musical performance and signed bookplates from featured writers.

The nonprofit Bushwick Book Club will be the beneficiary of funds raised from book sales and donations.

Jess Walter will read from his celebrated new book The Cold Millions; Donna Miscolta will read from Living Color: Angie Rubio Stories; Erica Bauermeister will read from House Lessons: Renovating a Life; and Kira Jane Buxton will read from Hollow Kingdom.

Author Jennie Shortridge and her musician husband Matt Gani will perform an original song inspired by Eric Liu’s book Become America, part of the Bushwick Book Club’s current performance series.

Here is this year’s author lineup:

The Holiday Bookfest (which is usually held live at the Phinney Center) is sponsored by Phinney Books, who will have all the authors’ books ready for pick-up or shipping.
Surely someone on your holiday shopping list deserves a great read (with a signed bookplate!) penned by one of our talented local writers.
