PADS for Parkinson’s: Training Dogs in Disease Detection

PADs is the first program of its kind in North America to train dogs to detect Parkinson’s Disease. Today, PADs has 14 star bio-detection dogs in the program, all with an accuracy (sensitivity rating) of 90% or greater in their ability to detect this debilitating disease. Program Director Lisa Holt will come talk about her ground-breaking organization, how the dogs are trained, how these dogs are helping scientists with their research, why early detection is so important, and how you can help.
