Play Group will come together on Thursday, October 6, for people to either read, or enjoy a reading of, a one-act play. The October selection is Sir Noel Coward’s ‘Fumed Oak’. This comedy was written in 1935 and was hugely successful in England when it debuted. The play calls for four readers and allows them to express their acting range.
If you would like to be a reader, please respond by September 28 to Diana at [email protected]. We will have copies available for you to read and practice at the front desk at the GSC by October 3. In fairness to all, whichever copy you receive will be your default role initially.
Readers will meet for a dry run of the play at 1:00 in the East Room at the GSC. Audience-only attendees should arrive there at 2:00 for a dynamic presentation with a discussion to follow.
Tea, water, and coffee will be available and potluck treats are welcome but unnecessary. Masks are required when not drinking, eating, or acting.
