From the 150-year-old pickle that resides in a Washington museum to the foods found buried with mummies, and even the petrified banana that sparked a museum, discover why certain kinds of very old food still grip our imagination. Why are some foods intentionally tucked away or preserved? In this talk, hear and share stories of how these and other vintage vittles hold memories, tell stories, and connect us with family, culture, and history.
