About PNA’s Rainbow Hop
13th annual PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop: creating a more connected and inclusive community so that everyone belongs!
The PNA has a rich 40-year history of strengthening a sense of belonging in our community, which we help achieve through one of our signature events: Rainbow Hop. This Pride and LGBTQIA+ event celebrates finding oneself, encourages inclusivity and diversity in our community, and seeks to help individuals feel authentically seen, heard, and valued. We invite you to be a part of this gay, family-friendly, and multi-generational celebration!
The day will start out with a free anti-bullying play at the Taproot Theatre, an all-age appropriate production. Families will then travel the Rainbow Hop route between 87th and 67th on Greenwood Avenue and take part in dozens of Pride-centric activities and crafts. You will have the opportunity to let loose at our all-ages dance party in the PNA Blue Building, and visit participating businesses where you can engage in fun and colorful activities, listen to stories and music, and enjoy plays and performances. By participating in Rainbow Hop, you become part of a movement that seeks to make Northwest Seattle a healthy, inclusive community where everyone belongs.
To participate in Rainbow Hop, simply follow the Rainbow Hop map and visit the businesses along the route. Collect stamps as you go along, and when you have six stamps, you can redeem them for free tickets to the Woodland Park Zoo!
Put on your finest Pride outfits and join us as we parade through our neighborhood in celebration of our connected and inclusive community.
