Greenwood Senior Center
Welcome friends, family, and neighbors!
The Greenwood Senior Center is an inclusive community that provides social, physical, and educational activities focused around the needs of older adults. We work to fight isolation, build camaraderie, and enrich each other’s lives.
The Greenwood Senior Center is currently offering primarily online services and activities, with some in-person events. However, we are not yet open for general walk-in.
GSC staff is working hard to support the community’s fabulous elders!
Carin Mack, our social worker is continuing counseling and support services on the phone and online. Please email her if you need support.
Meanwhile, we’re offering a number of online programs and are continuing to find other ways to make creative connections with the community. Please check out our events calendar for what’s going on!

This year, we’re live-streaming an interactive Power of Community event from the Greenwood Senior Center and we’d love for you to join us to…
- Celebrate the resilience of our community and the connections we create to inspire the well-being of older adults and their families.
- Listen to an intimate and lively conversation between engaging community leaders Jim Diers and Kavan Peterson.
- Support the essential work of our Greenwood Senior Center, PNA Village, and Memory Loss Program.
Can’t make it? Consider making a donation. Your support will connect seniors to vital services and people in the community.
Greenwood Senior Center requires masks and vaccinations
At this time, masks are required at the Greenwood Senior Center at all times except when eating or under specifically stated circumstances. In addition, the GSC has also begun requiring proof of vaccination for participation in many of its programs.
GSC participants can show proof of vaccination at the GSC’s front desk or by emailing a scan or photograph of their vaccine cards to [email protected]. A photograph or photocopy of your card is also sufficient for in-person verification. We will document your proof of vaccination at the time you provide it, and while you may be asked again about vaccine status, you will not be required to provide proof for each subsequent visit to the Center.
If you are exempt from vaccination or have other questions about this upcoming policy, please get in touch at [email protected] or call 206-297-0875 and ask for Cassandra.
We’re excited to announce that the papers are signed and it’s official! The Greenwood Senior Center’s building has officially been transferred from the City to the PNA. Thank you so much to our community whose support helped make this happen!
