Greenwood Senior Center

Welcome friends, family, and neighbors!

The Greenwood Senior Center is an inclusive community that provides social, physical, and educational activities focused around the needs of older adults. We work to fight isolation, build camaraderie, and enrich each other’s lives.

GSC staff is working hard to support the community’s fabulous elders!

What’s New

Greenwood Senior Center requires masks and vaccinations

At this time, masks are required at the Greenwood Senior Center at all times except when eating in designated areas or under specifically stated circumstances. In addition, the GSC also requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination (two primary series doses and at least one booster) for participation in many of its programs.

If you are exempt from vaccination or have other questions about this policy, please get in touch at [email protected] or call 206-297-0875.

The senior center property is now officially owned by the PNA!

We’re excited to announce that the papers are signed and it’s official! The Greenwood Senior Center’s building has officially been transferred from the City to the PNA. Thank you so much to our community whose support helped make this happen!

About Greenwood Senior Center

The Greenwood Senior Center has served Greenwood and neighboring communities from its home on N. 85th since 1977. In 2006, the Center became a program of the Phinney Neighborhood Association. We provide a variety of programs for adults in the areas of fitness, the arts, technology, memory loss, social opportunities and social services, including a daily hot lunch program.
