The PNA enjoys a long tradition of hosting a community celebration of Dia de los Muertos–the Day of the Dead, and we need your help! This Mexican holiday honors the lives of those who have passed, and is an upbeat event for all ages. We plan to celebrate with a traditional altar, live music & performances, creative crafts, and tasty & traditional food.
Help us bring our event to life on Saturday, November 1st, by volunteering for any of a number of jobs: put up posters (pre-event), pick up the bread, escort the procession, paint faces, help kids with crafts, make or sell Mexican style hot chocolate, set up, clean up & more!
***New in 2025: we’re planning to offer shuttle service between the two buildings! We need volunteers for both safe drivers & shuttle greeters.***

We continue to work hard to ensure a positive and successful experience for all PNA volunteers, participants and staff! Our Volunteer Agreement is intended to share our values and help set expectations, as well as provide consistency across PNA volunteers’ experiences. We ask all PNA volunteers to read, sign & return our Volunteer Agreement–either electronically through our website, or by downloading a copy and sending it in. (Submitting the Volunteer Agreement is in addition to signing up for your volunteer shift.)
