Thank you so much for your interest in the PNA Community Woodshop! Our Woodshop is run by a group of volunteers interested in building a community of people interested in woodworking. All levels of experience are welcome to use the space, though we expect our volunteer Woodshop Stewards to pass our safety class and be able to assist other shop users in safe practices.
Woodshop Volunteers must:
- be at least 18 years old
- submit our volunteer application, background check release form and confidentiality form
- read & sign the liability waiver agreement and the code of conduct agreement (bring to class ok, and forms also available in shop)
- attend Orientation to the Woodshop session (Free, must register)
- attend & pass Introduction to Woodworking & Shop Safety Class (2-class series, $60, must register)
You can email or bring the forms to the Phinney Center. Additionally, you can submit your background check release form through our secure document transfer site.
