Inside the Veterinary Field: Online Talk and Q&A
Monday, January 24, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
Ever wonder what it’s like to work in the veterinary field? Or have questions about pet parenting, like how to tell when something is an emergency? Or routines like flea treatment, teeth cleaning, and shots? Or how to pick a new vet (or a new pet) or what to watch for as your pet ages? Meet two sisters who grew up working in their dad’s vet clinic and then went into the field themselves. Dr. Tessa King, DVM spent 17 years as a general practice small animal vet and has now worked for two years in pet hospice and end-of-life care. Carmen King, LVT, VTS (ECC) is a licensed veterinary technician (i.e., animal nurse), board-certified in emergency medicine, who has worked in the ER, surgery and oncology departments, and the animal blood bank during her 19-year tenure as a technician. Join us to meet Carmen and Tessa, and bring your curiosities and questions. Register: [email protected], or call 206.297.0875.
