Join us for a presentation on the roots and present realities of the relationship between Russia and Ukraine. Benjamin Tromly teaches courses in modern European history at the University of Puget Sound, with an emphasis on the 20th century. His teaching interests include Russian and East European History, totalitarianism, the Cold War, European intellectual history, collective memory, and European nationalisms. Tromly is the author of two books: Making the Soviet Intelligentsia: Universities and Intellectual Life under Stalin and Khruschev (Cambridge University Press, 2014) and Cold War Exiles and the CIA: Plotting to Free Russia (Oxford University Press, 2019).
