About Garage Sale Day

Ready to clear out some clutter? Or maybe you are searching for that one-of-a-kind treasure? Either way, our Garage Sale Day is your time! Find garage sales galore around the PhinneyWood neighborhood, aided by a mobile map!

Garage Sale Day registration is OPEN! Click the link below to sign up. The cost for PNA members is $20 per sale, and $30 for the general public.

Event Features

 

Tool Library Sale

Our Tool Library will host their used tool sale during Garage Sale Day! There will be a lot of great tools at cheap prices, and you can take a tour of the Tool Library during the sale.

All proceeds benefit the Tool Library, a community program that offers thousands of tools to rent at low prices. It’s the perfect place to start your next DIY project!

Sell

Clear your home without going far by signing up to host a sale in the Phinney Greenwood neighborhood. Registration deadline is July 6. Questions? Scroll down for FAQ’s.

Shop

Head to Phinney to stroll the neighborhood for treasures, using our online map as a guide. After you’re finished shopping enjoy lunch at one of the great restaurants in the neighborhood!

What is PhinneyWood Garage Sale Day?

Garage Sale Day is an annual neighborhood-wide event for neighbors to sell their stuff and/or spend a day yard-sale hopping and shopping. PhinneyWood residents can host a sale in their yard/garage. The PNA publishes an online mobile map for shoppers to find and visit the sales in the neighborhood.

What's up with the Flea Market?

We will not be hosting a flea market in 2026. We have decided to simplify the event and keep the parking lot available for garage sale shoppers. If you are would to shop at an outdoor market, please consider visiting the Fremont Sunday Market. 

What is the PNA Garage Sale Map?

The map shows the locations of garage sales throughout the Phinney/Greenwood neighborhood. Shoppers use the map to find the sales they want to visit. It will be published to the public closer to the event

What if I don't live near the Phinney Center?

Anyone in PhinneyWood is welcome to list their garage sale on the map. (PhinneyWood boundaries are from the Zoo to 105th and 8th Ave NW to Aurora.) The most successful sales tend to be between 8th Ave NW & Linden Ave N and 85th St & 65th St. You can also sign up for a spot in the Flea Market in our parking lot.

Where can I take things that I don’t sell?

Donations can be taken to the nearby Goodwill store at 8th Ave NW & NW 65th St.

How is Garage Sale Day publicized?

The PNA advertises Garage Sale Day in local news publications, distributes posters and flyers, and promotes the event on our website, newsletter, PhinneyWood blog and social media. However, word of mouth is often the most effective form of advertising. Tell your friends and refer them to phinneycenter.org/garagesale for more
information.

What if it’s raining?

Garage Sale Day will be held rain or shine. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.
