❤️ Support the PNA

As part of this long-standing community tradition, we also invite you to bring a non-perishable item for the FamilyWorks Food Drive and help us top last year’s 700 lbs!

Getting to the Festival

Where is the festival held?

The festival takes place at the Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103. The event fills both the Blue Building and the Brick Building, which are located across the street from each other and connected by outdoor vendor areas. Each building has multiple levels filled with artisan booths, the juried art show, live music, hands-on activities, and the beloved Bake Sale at the top of the Blue Building.

How do I get there?

We strongly recommend leaving the car at home, if possible. Parking is very limited, and the streets around the Phinney Center fill up quickly. Instead, consider walking if you’re nearby, or using public transit—Metro routes 5 and 45 stop just a short walk away. Biking is also a great option, with racks available near the Phinney Center entrances. If you do drive, allow extra time to find neighborhood street parking, and please be considerate of our residential neighbors. Carpooling with friends or family is another good way to cut down on congestion and make your trip easier.

Is there parking?

Yes, but spaces are limited. The main Phinney Center lots typically fill early and remain full throughout the day. Keep in mind that you may need to park several blocks away. Because of this, we encourage alternative transportation options wherever possible. Planning ahead will make your visit more relaxed and enjoyable, and ensures our neighbors can still access their homes and driveways during this busy weekend.

Accessibility

Both the Blue Building and the Brick Building are accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility devices. Elevators are available in both buildings, and restrooms are ADA-compliant. If you have specific accessibility needs, we recommend arriving earlier in the day when crowds are lighter, so you’ll have a little more room to move around comfortably. We do also allocate more ADA parking in our lots than usual.

Tip: Make a day of it!

Once you’ve shopped the Winter Festival, the fun doesn’t have to end. PhinneyWood is known for its cozy cafés, neighborhood restaurants, and unique local shops—all within a short walk of the Phinney Center. If you’re out after dark, be sure to look for the PNAnimal Winter Lights, where six of our whimsical creatures are playfully hidden in shop windows throughout the neighborhood. Many families and friends turn the day into a tradition, mixing festival shopping with good food and a neighborhood adventure for a truly festive outing.

Event Info

When is the festival?

The festival happens the first weekend of December. In 2025, that means:

  • Preview Night (21+ only): Friday, December 5, 5–8 pm

  • Festival Days (All Ages): Saturday & Sunday, December 6–7, 10 am–5 pm

What can I expect at the festival?

Think of the Winter Festival as part holiday market, part community celebration. You’ll find over 140 vendors offering handmade jewelry, ceramics, textiles, woodcraft, prints, photography, and more—perfect for holiday gift shopping. The juried art show showcases fine art in a curated gallery setting, while live musicians and performers bring festive energy to the space. Kids and families will enjoy hands-on art activities, and everyone can join the Festival Passport game for a chance to win prize-filled goodie bags. Food trucks, seasonal bites, and the Bake Sale provide plenty of treats to fuel your shopping.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

No, you don’t have to—but we strongly recommend it. Buying online ahead of time means you’ll skip the lines with fast QR code entry. Preview Night, in particular, has limited capacity and could sell out, so advance tickets are the best way to guarantee your spot. Every ticket purchase also helps support the PNA and our community programs.

How does this event support the community?

This festival is one of the PNA’s biggest fundraisers of the year—and it’s as old as the PNA itself! (Talk about growing older together… though the festival only seems to get better with age.) Ticket sales and booth fees directly fund essential programs like hot meals for seniors, memory-loss support groups, kids’ activities, the tool lending library, and more. The beloved Bake Sale raises funds through community-donated treats, and the FamilyWorks Food Drive collects non-perishable food for neighbors in need. In 2024, attendees donated over 700 lbs—we’re aiming to top that this year!

FAQ: Preview Night (21+ Event)

Preview Night is a special 21+ kickoff on Friday, December 5, from 5–8 pm. With capped attendance, it offers a relaxed shopping experience, two pop-up bars, live performances, and early access to all 140+ makers.

Do I need to be 21+ to attend?
Yes. IDs are checked at the door and bars. Saturday and Sunday remain family-friendly and open to all ages.

What makes Preview Night different?
It’s festive yet intimate—fewer crowds, more time to chat with artists, shop comfortably, and enjoy music. Perfect for a date night or evening out with friends.

How does Preview Night support the PNA?
Preview Night is a major fundraiser. Every ticket helps fund PNA programs like hot meals, senior services, youth activities, and more—while sustaining one of Seattle’s longest-running community festivals.
