Help create a welcoming & safe space for our Hot Meal Program diners & participants.
Help seniors learn how to use their devices. Flexible schedule. 6+ month commitment preferred.
Support school-age kids afterschool at Whittier Kids. Weekly opportunities between 2 and 5 pm, ideally for the school year (Sept through June).
Bring your enthusiasm for the Village and expertise to the Volunteer, Membership/Marketing or Newsletter committees.
Help spread the word about PNA classes and events by putting up posters in PhinneyWood and beyond! Flexible schedule, great to do with kids and friends.
Saturday, June 6, 2026. Celebrate Pride Month by volunteering at our family-friendly event. Put up posters prior.
4 hour shifts available: 9am-1pm or 1-5pm, Sat and/or Sun. 6+ month commitment requested.
Saturday, May 16, 2026. Our annual spring fundraiser has been re-imagined! Event volunteers must be 21+; set up, decorate, bakers, and Sunday clean up open to all ages.
Share your passion with either adults at the GSC or kids at Whittier (summer camp). Flexible timing.
Use your journalistic experience to help write & edit articles.
Join our team of volunteers to help customers check tools out and in. Some experience with tools helpful, but not required. Current needs on Wednesdays from 4 to 6PM, and Fridays from 3 to 5PM.
Current openings on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30PM, at the Hot Meal Program.
Saturdays, May 2 and June 6 from 1 to 4PM. Help clean up, organize and/or pack up our classroom! Maybe a little groundskeeping.
