Virtual Reality Presentations

Virtual Reality is a computer-generated scenario that simulates experience through your senses and perception. Students from the UW School of Engineering will bring Virtual Reality headsets and games to give seniors the opportunity to experience this technology.

Beaver Presentation

Learn about beaver ecology, how to live with beavers and why we should care. From habitat creation to climate change mitigation, beavers are amazing neighbors! Free, but donations to Beavers Northwest gladly accepted.

Birds of the Arboretum

Join us for an illustrated talk about the birds of the Washington Park Arboretum, including pictures and recordings of our local birds along with stories about their behavior. Come with your bird questions!
